This painting is a portrait of Tulane alum Ted P. Tindell (1970 B.S. in Psychology), painted by New Orleans artist Sara Caperton Knight. The painting depicts Mr. Tindell relaxed and reading a book in the artist's studio. The painting was briefly exhibited at Le Petit Theater shortly after its creation. After that it hung in the sitter's home, where it was displayed next to Knight's portriat of Rick Boykin, Jr., Ted. Tindell's partner.
