Web Notes
Sally Gall is a photographer known for capturing the natural world. Her works focus on highlighting everyday scenarios in an abstract manner, creating scenes that capture the stillness of nature. she is successful in her manipulation of depth, color, and frame.

Galveston is a photograph that exudes simplicity. At first glance, it can appear to be a field; but on further investigation, it can seem like an ocean. This double-take is thanks to Gall’s use of perspective and linearity. The black and white quality of the photograph aids in the starkness of the sky and water. Birds in flight are seen in the sky, flying to directions unknown.
