The museum holds 160 works by Andy Warhol, including six prints from different portfolios. His screenprint
Camouflage is Day-Glo orange and hot pink. Rather than serving to conceal presence, Warhol’s bold
adaptation of the US military pattern draws attention to itself as a design that is instantly recognizable. This
work originated in a portfolio of eight prints published by the artist only a few months before his death at age
58.
