Mixed-media art & writing by more than 75 professional & non-professional artists & writers who have experienced breast cancer. The works are moving expressions & intensely personal statements bearing witness to the physical & emotional road to recovery. Additionally, this exhibition raised awareness of breast cancer.
With workshop, "Therapy, Healing & Living Through Cancer or Illness" by Celeste Schexnayder, Art therapist & cancer survivor, and symposium, " Breast Cancer: Issues & Attitudes" by Dr. Roy Weiner, Director, Tulane Cancer Center and Marilyn Brown, Professor of Art History, Tulane University & cancer survivor
